Yesterday I finally saw the "Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie" episode of the Simpsons. It's the one elusive episode that I'd never seen and had taken on legendary status in my imagination. Fortunately, it did not disappoint. It probably also helped that I was a little drunk when I watched it. It was so meta!

If you happen to be in or around Galesburg, Illinois this weekend, my band Nolan will be playing at Knox College. We're opening for a couple of nobody bands. Some band called Mates Of State and another bunch of jokers called Rainer Maria. It'll probably suck.

Now, I'm just hoping I don't get the hellish death virus that all my friends have gotten. I am in no mood to be Charfy McPukeface this weekend.
