Milwaukee / Chicago
16 October 2003

It was good to be in Wisconsin again. I have a lot of love for the state. I even ran into a guy who went to Lawrence. Milwaukee's a fun town, and we enjoyed watching cable "on demand" with Bosio and The Actual. And to think, I hadn't already seen Not Another Teen Movie.

Last night's show at The Bottom Lounge was sparsely attended, thanks to a certain sporting event being held just a few blocks away. Courtney, Katie, Tim and Adam showed up, though. I guess we know who our real friends are. Before we played (and after the game ended), I was sitting in the van talking on the phone, and watched a steady parade of dejected Cubs fan walked through the Alley, tromping through puddles under the El. It was a poignant sight. Dino blames it all on Billy Corgan.

Not terribly inspired writing, I know. Tonight we're in Ypsilanti. I have a feeling things will get more interesting as we head further east.
