I just want to bang on the drum all day
20 February 2003

When did the beginning of the modern American workday move from nine a.m. to eight? When did that happen? Why wasn't I informed before accepting such a job? All my friends who work during the day have to go in at eight. That's bullshizzity. I mean, nine a.m. seems so much more reasonable. Eight a.m. seems like ... school.

Americans work more hours per year than any other culture. We get less vacation time than most European countries. That's why we're all assholes.

More fodder for the Wish-I'd-Thought-Of-It-First pile ...
