A mighty wind
11 May 2003

Some observations on A Mighty Wind:

Best line: "If you punched a hole in 'em, you'd have a good time."

"Daily Show" reporter Rachael Harris was Bob Balaban's assistant.

As my mother said, "I'd forgotten how bad folk music is."

Peripheral characters played by Deborah Theaker, Michael Hitchcock, and Larry Miller were essentially the same peripheral characters these people played in Guffman, but were still hilarious.

The scenes with Mitch & Mickey were actually pretty poignant.

The first time Fred Willard appeared on the screen, I actually clapped.

Singin', Wishin', and Pickin' are all great album titles.

Every time Harry Shearer spoke, I only heard Principal Skinner.
