We're in Minneapolis, and we just added a third person to our list of people who overslept and were late for work as a result of hosting us. That's a warning to all you enterprising careerpeople: If you're going to let a rock band crash with you, make sure you don't care too much about your job.

Dino and I have the most fuel-efficient tour van ever. Made it up to Minneapolis last for a rousing show at the 400 Bar, fed the meter, ate a burrito, saw my old European traveling companions Jess and Colleen. All part of a satisfying visit to the Cities.

Then we bought some 3.2% beer and adjourned to the Boy With Stick house, leaving Matt passed out in the van. A couple hours later he came into the house after accidentally walking into a stranger's house and freaking out some lady. "Are my friends here?" he bellowed as he walked into the house and sat down in my lap. "I'm so cold," he kept saying.

We have tonight off, then we're at the Cowboy Monkey tomorrow. With the colder weather has come a change in official tour CDs to match the seasonal temperament: When I Pretend To Fall by the Long Winters, and of course Transatlanticism.
