We played at the Cowboy Monkey last night to one of the most enthusiastic crowds we've had all tour. As we were playing, I actually saw people sitting and watching us with their undivided attention. I'm not used to that. Plus the sound was great, Burn Disco Burn rocked as usual, and it was great to see Seth again. Champaign rules.

Now that I have my Airport card, I'm hoping I can get some Apple nerd to write a script for me so that, whenever I'm within range of a WAP, a box will pop up on my screen saying, "Hey asshole, here's the fucking Internet for your stupid face." I'm sitting in Colleen's kitchen using a stranger's network. Time to download some porn.

I realized the other day that this is by far the worst year of my life. I�m not trying to be dismal or pessimistic, just matter-of-fact: when you stack it all up, it is pretty much quantifiable: no other year in my short life thus far has seen this much difficulty. Which will, I hope, motivate me to make the next year a better one.
