Dude, that's the ice cream song.
10 May 2004

Yesterday I was reading in the park when a little boy ran up to me and said hed do a handstand if I gave him a quarter. I told him to show me the goods. So he did four pretty crappy handstands, then asked for a dollar. Slick little bastard. I just gave him a quarter, though. Kids gotta work on his handstands.

Then a woman wheeled an ice cream cart into the park. A real ice cream cart, with a bell and everything.

Over the weekend I front-loaded my iPod. So this is what I listened to at work today:

Tori Amos, Little Earthquakes
Aphex Twin, The Richard D. James Album
Badly Drawn Boy, The Hour Of The Bewilderbeast
Bark Psychosis, Game Over
Beans, Tomorrow Right Now
The Beatles, Revolver
David Bowie, Heathen

SONYA: My mom had a Men At Work tape shed listen to while she cleaned.
JAKE: Yeah, my mom used to play Verdis Requiem while she beat up the maid.
