Shut 'er down
14 December 2003

So there was an earlier version of this entry, but I wrote it at Aden's Festivus party while I was drunk, so about 98% of it made no sense. I've modified it to make slightly more sense, while leaving most of it intact.

Best sentence ever: "The trauma narrative takes modes of expression to task." By Margaret. I miss you, Margaret.

Amen, Leah. Thanks for saying it so perfectly that I don't even have to bother.

Last night my response to everything was one of two things:

1) "That's what she said!" whether the statement that proceeds it is a double-entendre or not

2) "Shut 'er down!" bellowed and accompanied by a swift downward motion of the palms

Since this morning, I have added a third response: "We got him!"

Festivus rocked. And a donation has been made in my name to the Human Fund.

We got him! Shut 'er down!
